My love of photography started about 10 years ago as part of my interest in Aviation. I would often spend days at a time in the hills of Wales and the Lake District caputring low flying jets! As my skills improved I began to get curious about other forms of photography - including pets, weddings & boudoir photography - my exploration of boudoir included kink and erotic photography.

My personal journey

Alongside my exploration of photography, I ended up on a deep personal journey around my general mental well being as well as who I was as person. During this time I found myself drawn to communities focused on personal growth, emotional awareness, and conscious living.

Through things like breathwork, therapy, open conversations around identity, connection, sexuality and spirituality, I began to rediscover who I really was — and how much of ourselves we often keep hidden or surpressed.

That curiosity led me into new environments, including spaces where people felt free to express themselves without judgment — through dance, intimacy, dress, sexuality and even kink - just simply being themselves.

Having had countless incredible personal experiences, both positive & challenging including powerful emotional releases, I started to feel like I wanted to do something more for myself and the community and began to wonder if my photography could be used in this way.

The Vision

As I explored the vision of how my photography could look, I began to see it no longer as a technical craft with a view of simply capturing an image, but as a potentially powerful tool for storytelling, healing, and expression.

I began to imagine a kind of photography that didn't just capture how someone looks but their very essence, that created space for emotion, freedom, and truth! The kind that says, this is me, in this moment — raw, real, and beautiful - free from judgment and conformity!

That vision eventually became Conscious Creations. For me, this isn't just a business. It's an embodiement of my own journey to find and express who I am and I aim to co-create a space with my clients, where can do the same, regardless of where they are in the moment or in life.
